As a Realtor here in the north Dallas Fort Worth area, it is so frustrating and disappointing to see that some home owners are NOT getting the full attention and dedication of their agent. Just in reviewing their listing in MLS there are so many homes on the market with many of them having 4-5 pictures only; sometimes less! In today's savy internet and online shoppers, most prospects are scouring the internet, Zillow, Realtor.com, Trulia, Redfin, MLS, and many other options. The problem of hiring the wrong Realtor who only puts inputs a few pictures means that you will get MUCH less showing than you would with an agent like..... ME! MLS holds 25 pictures and your agent should have at least 20 pictures loaded - why? - because when you get a first showing, that first showing is online. When you get a second showing that is where the prospect, along with their agent, actually come and personally view your home. If you aren't getting showings it for two reasons; one you are priced too high or because the pictures are terrible or of low quantity. This is rocket science my friends. You need to start with a well known brand, like Re/Max, because the bigger brands have more web presence and spend more on advertising to get those views online.
